Visit the WEP Awards and Fellowships page for more information about these and other opportunities offered by WEP.

The VIP Snider Seed Award provides up to $2,500 in seed capital per venture to assist University of Pennsylvania students in the execution of the initial stages of their business plans. Student program members must meet eligibility criteria to receive an award. Among these criteria is a requirement that students have been members of VIP for a minimum of one semester before they can apply. Wharton Entrepreneurial Programs takes no equity in the student companies. The awards are given as grant assistance.

The Wharton Venture Award (WVA) is given to select entrepreneurial Wharton students to support them financially over the summer in lieu of an internship, so that they can concentrate full-time on developing their ventures. Students are not required to be members of VIP to apply. However, members of VIP who are Wharton MBA first-year students and undergraduate juniors are strongly encouraged to consider applying.
